Restoration Project Underway
Owner: Michael Sheldon, Arizona (2007-2012)
0066 was in very rough condition at time of purchase, having been left sitting in the California desert for several years. An RV conversion had been done in the 1970’s, but had deteriorated to the point of not being salvageable.
Engine replaced with rebuilt 8V72T. Engine compartment completely rebuilt. Brakes replaced, brake and suspension air lines replaced. Bus is currently drivable, but still needs complete electrical overhaul, body work and replacement of interior.
